Over the past few weeks we have watched a variety of events unfold and there are so many opinions being expressed about them.
Those who believe in vaccinations are as committed to their truth as are those who do not believe in them. Those who support Trump, or China or anything controversial fit the same frame. After all, we supposedly fought 2 wars for freedom of speech!
Hate speech is never acceptable. However, it seems to me that determining who is right or wrong feeds the energy. Perhaps we might best be served by exploring those ideas and finding points of connection to build on.
Of course then we might find consensus. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
