“And what have you done?” asked John Lennon.
It’s a great question at any time and especially at this time of year, no matter what you are celebrating.
If the year is over what did we do with it? Did we achieve all we hoped from the beginning of the year? Did we aspire and reach as high as we expected we would? How do we measure that?
For me it’s about counting my blessings. We have a home, food, family and friends. However, it’s also about how I treated others. Was I kind, considerate and thoughtful? Did I respect their choices equally as much as I expected mine to be respected?
This time of year can be very stressful for many of us and often it’s the little things that make a difference. What are you being thankful about and how will you share that with others.?
Tony and I thank you all for being such a significant part of our lives. We wish you all the very best for the holiday season and that you too find and share kindness, consideration and thoughtfulness with those you meet.
