As we come to the beginning of a new year, we have an opportunity to sit back and take stock. All the signs are that 2023 will be as challenging as 2022 though in different ways.
How do we navigate this?
First of all, it’s about being risk realistic, looking at our life, without rose coloured spectacles and seeing what the reality is, not just what we want to see.
Secondly, it’s about looking at areas that we’re very happy with and focusing on those areas, developing them.
In areas that we’re not happy about, we need to take stock. Is this something that we can change? Is it something that we can let go of? Are we using our energy wisely if we persist in a course of action, that’s counterproductive.
And finally, it’s about being thankful for the life that we have, the areas within it that we enjoy. It’s about valuing our family, our friends, our friendships. Little miracles that happen quite unexpectedly showing us that we’re never alone. That there’s always someone there.
